Feelin' Nauti 866

Our calendar is refreshed in real-time & our nightly prices are accurately displayed. Simply enter your desired dates and click 'Book Now!'

Welcome to the tall and handsome Feelin' Nauti. This modern home is located in the esteemed St. Waves subdivision, granting you exclusive access to a community pool and tennis courts less than 250 steps from your front door. You'll also be a short walk (five rows) from the beach, eateries, a pub, a grocery store, a post office, jet-ski units, and activities such as windsurfing.

If you're an angler, you'll delight in being close to the charter boats at Oregon Inlet, one mile south of the Rodanthe Pier, just over a mile (north and south) from multiple bait and tackle stores, and two miles north of Beach Ramp #23.

Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by a cavernous drive, two carports, a fish-cleaning table, an expanded grilling area, two outdoor showers, and a brand-new firepit. Inside, the first floor is home to a bedroom with two bunk beds for the little ones, a bedroom with two twin beds, and a primary bedroom with a queen bed. All three bedrooms have TVs. The washer/dryer can also be found on this floor.

Head upstairs to find a bright and open living space where natural light abounds. The living room includes a brand-new intelligent TV and new wood-look laminate floors that extend into the kitchen and upstairs bathroom. The massive kitchen has all-new appliances (2019) and anything else you could ever think of. Really - don't bring a thing!

A loft provides a second, separate living area that's accessed by a spiral staircase, offering a sleeper couch, a wet bar, and a TV. The best part? The secluded deck gives you 180-degree vistas of the ocean and sound, nearly like an open-air crow's nest.

Head back down the spiral stairs and into the primary bedroom, complete with deck access and a comfortable queen bed. The upstairs bathroom connects to the bedroom and includes a shower and a massive jetted tub that nearly acts as a second hot tub.

Unwind at the end of the day in the seven-seater hot tub on the upper deck, a great spot for admiring Hatteras's striking sunsets. Also upstairs is a screened porch where you can take in the sunrise with your morning coffee.

Finding the best vacation home experience:

When to reserve a Hatteras rental & When to go:

  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer rentals during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer months are the most expensive season in Waves. To get the largest rental within your budget, we suggest booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at Hatteras restaurants, tours, and activities.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Property management companies frequently offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for details.
  • Look for your local visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great information, travel guides contain offers and deals for local shops and restaurants.

Selecting the best vacation rental in the Hatteras area:

  • Select your vacation dates and spending budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your group needs. Updated home with private hot tub, ocean\/sound view, firepit, shared pool\/tennis has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is usually accessible on booking websites. If not, email or call the property owner before you book the vacation property. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to establish what configuration is optimal for your group.
  • Remember to include your furry companions! Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Extra fees or applied to your contract.
  • If there's a particular Hatteras attraction you love, search for homes that are either close by, or those that cater to your desires.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before reserving a rental.

Considerations for your stay:

  • Add the property manager's phone number to your smartphone. Print and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, A/V setup or coffee maker. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call prevents lots of concerns.
  • Lock your rental property while you're out! Don't let burglars ruin your family vacation.
  • Upon arrival, note any issues with the rental property and immediately alert the property manager. Keep records of all coorespondence.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are a great source for finding the best local spots.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all belongings. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the host isn't available, take video of the property to record its condition.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property managers rely on good feedback to propel more reservations. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.
