- Private vacation home
This impressive 4 bedroom, 2 bath home has space for everybody! Sleeps 8 or more if you're creative! Located on a rather cul de sac, this property is a hidden gem.
The entire home is gorgeously decorated with coastal artwork. Some artwork is even bespoke to the home. The master suite is on the top floor, with a King Size Bed and a private full bath. The Purple Room is a precious space, that looks like it came out of a doll home, every little girl's dream. The full bed accepts for adults to use this room too. The Blue Room has a Queen bed and offers a sunset view. The Teal Room, is sound front and possibly the best room in the home! This room features a Queen bed.
Panoramic vistas of the Pamlico sound from nearly every room in the home! Two Kayaks for your enjoyment. Bring your boat and dock it right out back! Deep water access. No boat? No problem, fish right from the dock or charter at one of the local docs!
The sunrises can be seen from the back deck, get up early at least one morning and you'll be glad you did. This is a view that is unlike any other in the world, really magical. And the sunsets are the closest second you'll find. They can be seen comfortably from the front deck. Sandy from a day's fun? Use the outdoor shower to clean off, hot and cold water. We sometimes prefer to take our regular showers outside, how often can you do that at home?
Some partial weeks and weekend stays may be available contact us directly for booking those. They will show as booked but we can manually rent them to you through Vacation Rental By Owner.
This property is now professionally managed. Customer service is our number #1 priority! We will work with you to ensure you have a excellent vacation to remember. Rental booking tips and tricks:
Cost saving strategies:
- Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. To find the best value, try shifting your group's vacation dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer warmer temperatures, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
- Some hosts offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if discounts are available for your family before you book.
- Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for details.
- Many rental management companies supply Hatteras area travel guide magazines which include money-saving deals, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Hatteras visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Filter your search:
- First and foremost, have your family agree to dates and a spending budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration your family requires. Waterfront Home with Panoramic Views has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Specific information about bedrooms and bed types is generally available on booking pages. If they are not listed, email or call the property owner before you reserve your rental. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to determine what configuration is best for your trip.
- If your family is bringing pets, you must book a pet-friendly vacation rental. Make sure to ask for information on breed, size, and type requirements. Often, hosts charge additional pet fees.
- If there's a particular Hatteras attraction you are enamored with, look for properties that are either close by, or those that cater to your desires.
- Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
More tips for your stay:
- Store the manager's information in your smartphone.
- Property managers are there to help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
- Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking the property while you are away, just like you would at home.
- To ensure that no damages are attributed to your family's stay, make a record of any problem areas during check in. E-mail the property manager immediately to relay any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be useful.
- Respect the neighborhood. Frequently, nearby homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking policies reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Re-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items on check-out day. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Go through the property a final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, ensure that you take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
- After your trip, leave a review! Hosts rely on great ratings to compel future reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
