Sunrise bungalow is a side-by-side duplex with a reverse floor plan. Just steps from the beach and a gorgeous ocean view makes it a great choice for a family vacation. Sunrise Cottage features two entirely supplied kitchens, dining room, comfortable living rooms, and half baths. The open floor plan makes for a cavernous and cozy gathering place. Sit and relax while you watch the ocean from the living room or from the ocean side porch while catching some sun and salt air. With two queen master bedrooms with a private bath and ocean side deck with ocean vistas, two queen bedrooms, and two bedrooms with two single beds each, and two full hall bath. Offering all the basics to get you started on your vacation, such as toilet paper and paper towels, we're certain you'll be happy upon arrival. With access to a resort pool and spa, fish cleaning stations, unlimited beach access, under-home private entry, parking, and outside hot/cold showers make this the ideal choice for a calming vacation. About the Area

Located in Buxton, this cottage is near the beach. Uncle Eddy's Frozen Custard and 18-Hole Mini Golf and Buxton Woods Nature Trail are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Buxton Seafood and Frisco Mini Golf and Go Karts. Surf's Up and Hatteras Island Boardsports are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

  • Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are high season in Buxton. To find the largest rental home for your budget, we recommend booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Booking websites typically offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection.   • Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and keep an eye out for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take video of the property to record its condition.
