Located near the beach, this vacation home is in Wind Over Waves, a neighborhood in Salvo. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Finding the best rental home value:

• The earlier your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved early. Reserving your vacation rental six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
• Summertime is the most expensive season in the Hatteras area. Booking in Fall or Spring is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable properties.
• Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
• Booking websites frequently offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional fuel expenses.
