SEMI-SOUNDFRONT Salvo - Turtle Ct. - The impressive sunsets you'll see from this enormous, finely-appointed home will take your breath away! Stay at FIRE ISLAND and savor all of the activities the Outer Banks has to offer including community sound access with boat ramp. Enter this gorgeous home through the first floor game room entirely equipped with pool table, foosball, Intelligent TV, and wet bar with full size refrigerator. Walk out onto the outside deck and patio with private swimming pool and hot tub. The first floor also has two bedrooms, each with Intelligent TVs, one king and one with pyramid bunk, semi-private bath and laundry room. The mid-level has four bedrooms - two master suites (1 king, 1 queen) - plus another queen room and a room with two singles that share a hallway bath. All bedrooms have Intelligent TVs and access to the wrap-around porch with handsome sound vistas. Upstairs you will be welcomed by the huge, open great room with vaulted ceiling that offers an entertainment center with Intelligent TV. Savor calming in the comfortable seating area, feast on a family dinner at the long dining table, and gaze out the many windows that open to the Pamlico Sound. The great room and dining areas open to the third floor deck with outdoor benches and chairs for your relaxation. The well-equipped kitchen, complete with two dishwashers, opens to another covered porch facing the morning sun, providing a private place for your morning coffee. You will also find another king master suite on this level. You and your family are sure to bring home magnificent memories from your vacation at FIRE ISLAND. Get the most from your spending budget:

  • Summer is the most expensive season along the coast of NC. To get the best value, consider shifting your vacation to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer great temperatures, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • The earlier your group can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved early. Reserving your vacation home six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Property managers often offer renters an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gas expenses.
