For the work-from-beach crowd, Moon Palace offers plenty of laptop space and high-speed wifi internet that covers the entire home. As the day winds down, beachcombers and those at home can join to catch the sunset with beverages on the broad deck overlooking the private pool.


Cook your fisherman's catch in the roomy open kitchen with gorgeous granite countertops and the culinary tools you need to whip up the ideal meal. Finish your evening in heaven with stargazing and a trip to the hot tub ready for you anytime at the just-right temperature.

As your evening winds down, getaway to the Captain's Tower main suite with a private oceanfront balcony where you can watch the waves crash or relax away from the world with the extravagant Jacuzzi offering private sunsets over the Pamlico Sound. The whole family will savor their stay in one of six handsome bedrooms with comfortable beds and individual TV sets. Moon Palace features two main bedrooms and a range of restful sleeping options, including kids's rooms. Find a nook to read ghost stories of local legends like the pirate Blackbeard after you visit the partial remains of a 19th-century shipwreck along the beach visible from the Captain's Tower. Catch the game or keep the kids entertained with cable TV (Netflix and Amazon-enabled) and a pool table in the downstairs game room with a kitchenette. Outside on the ground level is an outdoor shower for after your swim.

A freshly installed elevator provides access from the carport to each level of the home, including access to the kitchen for groceries and the top-level primary bedroom.
