OCEANFRONT Hatteras- Summerplace Dr.

Get to the bottom of your beach bucket list this year at BIKINI BOTTOMS. A stay at this pretty oceanfront home will satiate any desires for sea, sun, sandy toes and salty breezes. The private swimming pool welcomes you to your vacation with attached kiddie pool, well-furnished deck with picnic table, and grilles close by. Get to and from the beach comfortably on the boardwalk next to the home, and rinse off at the end of the day in the outdoor shower and convenient foot wash. Just inside is a full bath for fast trips in from the beach or pool and the steamy hot tub is just up on the deck overlooking the pool and beach. There are ocean vistas from every level of this home, including the first level, and an elevator takes you and your bags from the carport to the great room and each level in between. No need to lug groceries up those stairs! The game room won't disappoint with an air hockey table, comfortable seating area in front of the home theater system with Intelligent TV and BluRay player, and close by kitchenette with full-size refrigerator and microwave. A dining table accommodates afternoon snacking or rainy day board games. A bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds is found on this level for the kids, while four more bedrooms (queen, queen, queen, king) are located on the mid-level. All bedrooms in the home have private master baths, Intelligent TVs and BluRay players, and all but the bunk room have vistas of the ocean. There are two sets of washers/dryers in the home, one on the bottom level and one on the landing up from the mid-level to meet the laundry needs of your group. The vistas from the great room are impressive with blue water and sea oat covered sand dunes. Unwind on the couches while watching your favorite show on the home theater system with Intelligent TV, surround sound and BluRay player. A wet bar is found next to the entertainment center with mini-refrigerator to keep your beverages cold. Meal prep is a breeze in the well-appointed kitchen with granite countertops and breakfast bar seating for four to supplement the dining table which seats 10. Up one more level is a captains watch with bench seating and windows framing a expansive view of the ocean and sound. There are three levels of oceanfront decks at this home and a soundside deck on the mid-level for watching the pretty colors of the sunset. The first and second level decks are covered and most of the top level deck is open to the sun and the stars. There is a covered portion of the top deck just outside the slider from the dining area, where you can dine oceanfront undercover at the table and chair set. No matter what is on your vacation list this year, you've got it covered at BIKINI BOTTOMS.

*Please note that this property has a pool that can be heated for $600. Pool heaters, when pool heat is purchased, are set to 80 degrees, but pool temperature cannot be guaranteed.

Dogs are welcome for a fee of $200/dog/week.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the $200 weekly fee will apply for each dog and will be added once your reservation is finalized.

Vacation Rental Protection Plan: This required non-returnable $95 plan covers accidental damage within the home with a coverage limit of $3,000. It does not cover theft or willful misconduct. You must notify Surf or Sound Realty of any damage that occurs during your occupancy or this coverage will be void. Coverage is effective at time of check-in and ends at time of check-out.

Located in Hatteras, this vacation home is on the beach. Village Marina and Hatteras Harbor Marina are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum and Frisco Native American Museum. Sticking to your rental budget:

  • Summer time is high season in the Hatteras area. To find the best rental home within budget, we highly recommend booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at Hatteras restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Property management companies sometimes offer special rates for veterans. Ask your host or property manager if rate reductions are available for your family.
  • Property management companies often offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection.   • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home while you are out, just like you would at home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the property to reconfirm you've collected all personal items. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
