SEMI-OCEANFRONT Salvo- Ocean Spray Rd. SOLARE (pronounced so-lar-ay) is only one lot back from the ocean, but that's just one of the benefits of this appealing home. There is an enclosed garage with dry entry to the ground level where you'll find the game room with pool table, wet bar with refrigerator, ice maker, and microwave. Step outside to the private swimming pool with its own covered tiki bar (complete with mini refrigerator and sink) and 6-person hot tub! You will find a half bath accessible via the pool area and an enclosed outside shower. On this level is a queen master suite, handicap friendly, with TV and a private accessible bathroom/shower. A laundry room and all-floor elevator entrance completes this level.
The second level features two king master suites with private baths and TVs, a bunk bedroom (2 pyramid with 1 trundle) with TV and private bath, and a den with a home theater system.
Take the elevator to the third level to find a cavernous great room with wall-to-wall windows and cathedral ceilings, for gorgeous ocean vistas. The great room offers an entertainment system with surround sound and a cabinet with books and games for family fun. A half bath is available on this level as well. Unwind in the modest private reading room (captain’s watch) off the main living room, which will offer you a pretty view of the sunset over the sound or a bird’s eye view of the ocean. The well-appointed bespoke kitchen features 2 dishwashers, 2 ranges and 2 microwaves along with a breakfast bar is a chef's dream and there is a sizable, open dining area for family get-togethers. A third king master suite with TV and private bath, featuring bespoke tile work, Jacuzzi tub, and separate shower finishes off this level. Come down and savor SOLARE.

Located in Salvo, this vacation home is on the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Getting the most from your spending budget:

  • Summertime is high season in the Hatteras area. To find the largest rental home within your budget, we strongly suggest reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular attractions. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • The earlier your group can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental homes are booked early. Reserving your vacation home up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your vacation rental.
  • Some hosts and property managers offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Property managers frequently offer renters an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses.   • Is your group looking for specific amenities? Most rental websites include search filters with amenity lists. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find your ideal rental home.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. .
  • Traveling with pets? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement! Extra fees or costs could be applied to your invoice.

  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Lock your rental property while you're away! Don't let crooks ruin your holiday.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all of your things. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the host is not available, ensure that you take photos of the property to record its condition.
