Ground Level: Outside, you will find a carport accommodating plenty of parking. Additional perks include an outside shower, a charcoal grille, and a dining area. Conveniently located on this level are 2 bedrooms that share a full bathroom with plenty of space for everybody to spread out and relax. Bedroom 1 features a Queen bed, and bedroom 2 offers a Pymraid bunk bed. (Single over Double Bed with Single Trundle)
Mid Level: Upstairs, you'll find the primary bedroom, which has a King bed, its own private bath, and a deck offering gorgeous ocean vistas. Two additional bedrooms share this level. The Queen bedroom opens onto the deck—ideal for appreciating your morning coffee or a good book with a side of sea breeze. The Pyramid Bunk room (Single over Double Bed with Single Trundle) will be ideal for the kids to end their day. Linens and towels are included all year. This home will provide sheets for all beds, and the beds will be made except for sleep couches, top bunk beds, and trundle beds, in which case the sheets are supplied. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the home sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom, and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

Sticking to a rental home budget:

- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. To get the best value, change your family's Hatteras vacation week to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer warmer weather, , and reduced traffic.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
- Management companies and individual rental owners often offer guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for additional information.

- Add the owner's phone number to your smartphone. Take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.

- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
- When it's time to leave, complete a final walk-through to confirm you have not forget any personal items. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Go through the property a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, remember to take photos and video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
- Did your family have a terrific vacation? Many rental management companies make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your rental and/or host was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was wrong and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
