OCEANVIEW Salvo - Rampart Street - Savor the sweet days of summer at SUMMER BREEZE and have not a care in the world. This bespoke-constructed home in Salvo is located just four tons from the beach with access at the end of the street. Walk up to the doorstep and enter to be welcomed by a game room with pool table, foosball, flat screen TV and wet bar and close by convenient half bath. The main living area is located on the mid-level of the home and features a bright sitting area around an entertainment center with enormous flat screen TV. The dining area seats eight at the table alongside the breakfast bar with seating for another two. There are smiles awaiting in the open kitchen, with plenty of space for the chef and assistants, and features high-end stainless steel appliances, and bespoke cabinetry, countertops, and tilework. The screened porch off the dining area is the ideal place for appreciating a meal outdoors. A second half bath is located on this level along with the king master bedroom which includes a private full bath with Jacuzzi tub, dual vanity and glass bock shower. Three more bedrooms are located on the top level of the home including a queen master bedroom with private full bath with Jacuzzi tub and two more queen bedrooms that each has access to a private commode and a shared shower between them. The decks on both the mid-level and top level of the home provide a delightful area for calming with a good book and casual conversation as the SUMMER BREEZE is blowing through the jasmine in your mind. The crow's nest, just a few steps up from the top deck, provides handsome ocean and sound vistas. Appointed with modern amenities and modren decor, SUMMER BREEZE makes you feel fine.

Located in Salvo, this vacation home is near the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Cape Hatteras National Seashore and Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge, while Chicamacomico Life-Saving Station Historic Site and Museum and Studio 12 are cultural highlights. How to find the best vacation home experience:

When to visit & When to reserve a Salvo rental home:

  • Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Salvo. To get the best value, shift your trip dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer excellent weather, , and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months.
  • Some hosts offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer renters an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Find a copy of your local Hatteras area magazine when you check-in. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, travel guide magazines contain coupons for local accommodations, restaurants and tours.

  • Select a designated group leader, select your vacation week, and choose a maximum budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. A Summer Breeze and Ocean Views with Hot Tub, Game Room, Wet Bar, and Grill has 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed types is often available on booking websites. If they are not listed, email the property manager before you reserve the vacation home. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • Some properties allow pets, but others do not. Acceptable types of dog or cat, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional costs may apply. Ask the property management company about pet restrictions before booking.
  • Are you visiting for a single event or attraction? Try a map search to browse nearby properties.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are included before reserving a rental.

During your stay:

  • Get the owner's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental property. Put the manager's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, intercom or WIFI setup. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent lots of concerns.
  • Lock your rental while you are out. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • At Check-in, make note of any issues with the property and immediately contact the owner. Keep records of all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You'll enhance your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually an excellent resource to find the best local beaches.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all personal belongings. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
