The home is located in a super location – a short walk to eateries, stores, groceries and the Avon Pier, but set off the main road and away from any hint of hustle or bustle. Plus, you’re only a couple of homes from the beach! Your family will appreciate the peaceful and convenience.

Enter the home from the carport with an all-weather dry entry. The first level has four bedrooms, two baths and convenient laundry area. The two queen bedrooms have sliders that open to a shaded ocean side deck. Upstairs, the open great room features ocean vistas, vaulted ceilings, and a convenient bath with Jacuzzi tub. The screened porch off the dining area is great for traditional Hatteras crab feasts and steamer pots. Unwind on the deck and savor vistas that include the Avon Pier and a peek at the sound.

  • Summer months are the most expensive season in coastal NC. Reserve your Hatteras vacation home in the Fall or Spring to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if rate reductions are available for your group before you book.
  • Property managers usually offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.

  • Keep your rental home locked while you're away! Don't let thieves spoil your trip.
  • When it's time to leave, take a final walk-through to confirm you didn't forget any personal items. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
