Bedroom three has two singles. A centrally located hall bath and laundry area round out this level. A foosball table are also located on this level which will make for hours of fun. Don't forget about those family game nights. On Water's Edge has multiple board games for your entertainment choices.
At the top of the stairs is the comfortably furnished and attractively decorated great room. The living room offers plenty of space for everybody to gather around and recount the day's adventures. The entirely-equipped kitchen is opened to the living room so the conversation can continue to flow even as the cooks are in the kitchen preparing their specialties. The close by dining table offers seating for four with an additional four seats available at the breakfast bar.
There is no better way to wake up in the morning than by stepping out onto the oceanfront deck, breathing in the crisp salt air, as you sip your coffee and watch the sun rising out of the Atlantic. A conveniently located full bath and fourth bedroom with queen bed complete this home.

Rental home tips:
Get the best value:
- Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Summer time is high season in the Hatteras area. To find the largest rental home for your budget, we suggest reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular attractions.
- Owners sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Ask your host or property manager if discounts are available for your family.
- Property management companies often offer renters an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
- Find a copy of your local Hatteras area magazine upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, travel guides contain deals for nearby tours and attractions.
Use filters to search efficiently:
- Select a group lead, choose your trip dates, and select a spending budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration you need. Oceanfront dog-friendly home w\/prime beach access, foosball table, spacious deck has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
- Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts is regularly accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, email the host before you reserve the home. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to determine what bed configuration is optimal for your trip.
- Some properties allow pets, but some don't. Acceptable types of family pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask your host about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
- Visiting for a specific event? If so, use a map search to find nearby properties.
- Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available before booking.
Tips for your stay:
- Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and save the directions to your phone.
- Property managers are there to help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
- Protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home when you are gone, just like you would back home.
- Document any issues with the property during check in, and immediately e-mail them to the owner. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are beneficial if damages are assessed.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be an excellent resource to find the best local scenic spots.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all personal belongings. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Walk through the rental one final time and scan for damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, remember to take photos and video of the property to record its condition.
- Did your group have a terrific vacation? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property manager was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was defective and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
