OCEANVIEW Salvo – Ocean Spray Rd. - Your family will be happy as a FAT GULL at this fun and luxury-filled Hatteras Island beach home. Beach access is just at the end of this peaceful street in south Salvo, and there is nothing finer than calming on one of the decks amidst the sea breeze and salt air. The bubbly hot tub is perched on the first level deck with simple-lift cover. Appreciate a game of pool in the multi-purpose game room which also offers a comfortable area for viewing the TV with DVD and Wii console. An apartment size refrigerator is available in this room for convenient access to drinks. The great room on the top level of the home is bright and decorated with an island flair. A game table for board games, and a TV and Blu-ray provide entertainment while meals are prepared in the kitchen with fresh appliances and plenty of space for prep. The dining table seats 8 and the breakfast bar seats another 4 so that everybody can dine together. When it's time to retire after a full meal, your FAT GULLS can choose from 4 bedrooms on the mid-level of the home. There are two master bedrooms (king, queen) each with private baths and TVs with Roku. The other two bedrooms (queen, pyramid bunk and single) share a hall bath. Vacation Rental Protection Plan: This required non-returnable $95 plan covers accidental damage within the home with a coverage limit of $3,000. It does not cover theft or willful misconduct. You must notify Surf or Sound Realty of any damage that occurs during your occupancy or this coverage will be void. Coverage is effective at time of check-in and ends at time of check-out.

  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property management companies usually offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gas expenses.   • Just before checking out, take a final walk-through to make sure you have not forget any personal items. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
