There’s plenty to appreciate about this private setting, especially the private pool and surrounding patio that provides an inviting space to spend an afternoon with a good book and nowhere else to be. Located in Salvo, this vacation home is near the beach. Chicamacomico Life-Saving Station Historic Site and Museum and Studio 12 are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Rodanthe Pier and Ocean Air Sports. - Remember to include your furry companions! Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement! Extra fees or may be applied to your invoice.
- If there's a specific Hatteras attraction you are enamored with, search for properties that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your requirements.

- Just prior to departing, complete a walk-through to confirm you have not forget any personal items. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Go through the rental a final time and look for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the host isn't available, take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on great feedback to stimulate new reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will will be grateful for your experience and help them have the best future vacation.
