The best vacation recipe begins with this handsome, 3,000-square-foot, oceanside Sun N Waves. The bottom level has good parking, a carport, an outdoor shower, and is an simple walk from the beach. On the living level, the first bedroom has a pyramid bed and a crib. A convenient full hall bath is close to the laundry nook. The second bedroom has a king-size bed, a TV, and deck access to a porch featuring a private hot tub. The hot tub is accessible from the ground level stairs. The third bedroom has a queen bed and a TV. The fourth bedroom has a king-size bed, deck access, an LCD TV, and a full bath. On the second level, the great room has tall ceilings, a half bath, an entertainment center with an LCD TV, complimentary WIFI, and comfortable resort furnishings. Wide furnished decks, a screened porch, and a modest covered porch allow for full access to vistas and sun. Sun N Waves's well-equipped kitchen has a breakfast island and is close to the dining table. The fifth bedroom is a main bedroom with a queen bed, an LCD TV and DVD player, and a full bath.

Things to Know
The pool is open seasonally from April through mid-October. Dates are subject to change.
You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your e-mail. You will not be able to check-in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already supplied in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to family pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

About the Area

Located in Rodanthe, this vacation home is by the sea. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Cape Hatteras National Seashore and Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge, while Chicamacomico Life-Saving Station Historic Site and Museum and Studio 12 are cultural highlights. • Summer months are the most expensive season in Waves. Booking in Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
• Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your group qualifies for a reduced rate.
• Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gas expenses.
