We welcome you to a comfortable home with many benefits including an outdoor enclosed shower (hot/cold water). Our bottom level access is under the carport entering a cavernous area with a washer and dryer for your laundry needs. It's a great place to keep your beach bag ready to walk out the door. The second level is the main entrance with a covered porch outside. If you enter from this door into the home we have a cute sitting area to read or relax. We have a bookcase with tons of books, puzzles and games. All 3 bedrooms are located on this level. The master bedroom has a queen bed, ceiling fan and full bath. The second bedroom has a queen bed with a ceiling fan and shares a full bathroom with the 3rd bedroom that has a pyramid bunk and a pullout trundle.
Upstairs, you enter into an open floor plan sharing living and dining space including a half bath. Our top Vacation rental tips:
Sticking to a rental home budget:
- Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- June, July, and August are high season in Avon. Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
- Property management companies typically offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
- Often, property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Hatteras area visitor guides that include special deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find Hatteras visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
