About the Area

Located in Frisco, this vacation home is on the beach. Frisco Native American Museum and Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Frisco Mini Golf and Go Karts and Buxton Seafood. Uncle Eddy's Frozen Custard and 18-Hole Mini Golf and Surf's Up are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Getting the most from your spending budget:

• Summer is high season in Frisco. To get the best value, consider shifting your vacation to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer excellent weather, , and reduced traffic. • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction.
• Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.
• Many rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Hatteras area travel guide magazines that include coupons, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds and bunks.
• Are you visiting for a single attraction? If so, use a map search to find nearby rentals.
• Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. .
