OCEANFRONT Frisco — Sandpiper Dr. — Some vacation homes have marvelous vistas. Others have handsome, soaring spaces. A few have a defining feature that inspires the stories you will retell for many years to come. BEAGLE BY THE SEA is the rarity that delights with all of the above. The vistas come courtesy of the ocean-to-sound vistas revealed off multiple decks of this six-bedroom/four-full and one-half bath beachfront beauty. The spaces are thoughtfully curated to surround you with every possible vacation comfort. And that defining feature? The original nine-foot Brunswick Classic billiards table from the movie, “The Hustler,” taking a star turn in a cavernous game room. It won’t take much to channel your inner Fast Eddie.
Of course, there is so much more to take your vacation aspirations to another level — in this case, four of them of well-defined living. The first level features an oceanfront swimming pool and six-person hot tub, surrounded by a variety of seating to while away an afternoon. There are two grilles (gas and charcoal) to fire up a fast lunch and a lighted tiki bar to quench everybody’s thirst as the day winds down. Use the outdoor shower for a quick and convenient rinse off. Just inside, the aforementioned game room also features two queen sleeper couches, a TV and wet bar. There is also a full bath on this level. Four of the home’s bedrooms take up the second level, including one room with two twins with a trundle; a “pirate room” for the kids with two bunk beds; and a king and a queen that both offer deck access. The laundry room is conveniently located here as well.
The third level great room, with its cathedral ceiling and walls of windows accepts the oceanfront backdrop to lure everybody together for meals and other magical moments of family frivolity. The well-supplied commercial kitchen is a chef’s dream, adept at accommodating enormous groups with an enormous refrigerator, a new cooktop, two dishwashers, and a breakfast bar that seats 10. Gather everybody to savor long meals together at a long table that can accommodate 18, then getaway to the massive sectional in the great room to keep the event going here, or outside on the furnished deck with a cool drink and warm thoughts of the memories being made. When you are ready to call it a nighttime, getaway to the fourth level where a queen and king bedroom with a shared bathroom offer private balconies for one last look at the stars before drifting off to sweet dreams. Make BEAGLE BY THE SEA the dream that comes true and book it today.

Tricks and tips for getting the perfect rental experience:
Find your perfect vacation home:
- In the Hatteras area, The earlier your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are booked very early. Reserving your vacation rental up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. To get the best value, try changing your group's vacation week to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer warm temperatures, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
- Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group.
- Booking websites typically offer customers an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for details.
- Many property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Hatteras area travel guide magazines that include coupons, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Planning and picking a perfect Hatteras rental home:
- Begin by choosing your trip dates and a spending budget.
- Determine how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. Oceanfront Home with Pool, Hot Tub, Tiki Bar, Game Room, and Workstation has 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is commonly available on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, call the property owner before you book the vacation home. Note that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds.
- Some rental properties allow pets, but others don't. Allowable types of pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional costs may apply. Ask the property manager about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
- If there's an individual Hatteras attraction you simply love, search for rentals that are either nearby, or those that cater to your needs.
- Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
Advice for a fantastic stay:
- Add the host's phone number to your smartphone. Print and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
- Hosts are great sources of help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Protect the owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up when you are out, just like you would at home.
- Document any damages to the property at check in, and immediately send them to the owner. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are valuable if damages are assessed.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You'll increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a terrific source for finding the best local beaches.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can usually help. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the property to make sure you've collected everything. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Inspect the property one final time and scan for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Did your group have a terrific vacation? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your property and/or property management company was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was inoperable and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
