With the Mirlo Beach boardwalk access next to the home, you are steps away from the Atlantic ocean as well as the Pamlico Sound within walking distance and provides a stunningly serene backdrop, it’s clear that this home is a true treasure.

As soon as you pull up to this seven-bedroom/five- and two-half-bath beauty, you’ll feel yourself melt into the calming surroundings. Let the ocean waves lull you into a good nap next to the heated saltwater pool or as you savor a calming soak in the 6-person hot tub. A gas grille and a poolside bar you can stock with your favorite refreshments make it painless to quench both hunger and thirst without having to venture inside. But when you do, there’s a kitchenette and game room on the first level, featuring arcade and board games, puzzles, a card table, and DVD library.   • Summer months are the most expensive season in Rodanthe. To find the largest rental within your budget, we suggest reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities.
  • The sooner you can book, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation property six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
  • Property managers sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family.
  • Booking websites usually offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gasoline expenses.
