SOUNDSIDE Avon - Kinnakeet Shores (Formerly Sand-sation) A Hatteras Island vacation SHORE SOUNDS GOOD - especially at this attractively maintained home on a lake in the heart of Avon. Two docks for fishing, crabbing or launching kayaks to paddle in the lake offer a unique experience not found at many other homes on the island. Appreciate vistas of the lake from every level of the home, and sound vistas from the top level, making for some marvelous sunset viewing on the top deck. Community amenities enhance your vacation, including a running path, tennis courts, community pool, and deeded ocean and sound access. The home is only a five min. walk to the community boardwalk to the sound. A shining private pool welcomes you to the home where you can kick back and take a exhilarating dip after your drive. Toss some burgers on the grille and dine poolside at the outdoor seating. A half bath is accessed from the deck to keep wet feet from running through the home. The indulgent hot tub sits on the first level deck overlooking the pool, making an ideal spot for a break.
Inside the home, send the suitcases and groceries up in the all-level elevator while you play a rousing game of pool in the remarkable game room, also featuring seating in front of a huge flat screen TV. A wet bar with refrigerator and microwave provides a convenient place to store drinks and prepare snacks for the pool and beach. A king master bedroom with private bath is also located on this level. The mid-level is home to four more bedrooms, a second king master bedroom with private bath, a master bedroom with a queen bed and a private bath, and a bedroom with king bed that has a private entrance into the common bath on this level.
