OCEANFRONT Hatteras – Lighthouse Rd. – BY THE SEA HATTERAS – by the delightful sea is where you will find this striking and roomy four-bedroom/two-bath bungalow, located just steps from the ocean and where bigger-than-life vistas will capture your heart and soul — from your first dolphin sighting beyond the ocean’s waves to the last shooting star that bids you goodnight.
On the first level you’ll find a hallway of bedrooms, including a double that opens to a semi-private full bathroom, an oceanside king bedroom, and a bedroom with a queen pyramid bunk that overlook the protective dunes. There’s also a washer/dryer on this level as well as a comfortable den featuring a TV, DVD player, DVD library, and a mini refrigerator to stock your favorite refreshments. This room opens onto a shaded deck where a five-person hot tub offers the ideal location to savor a calming dip. On the upper level, you’ll find a fourth bedroom, a queen with attached bath. You’ll also find plenty of space where your family can spread out within an open floor plan that encompasses a kitchen, dining area and great room. The kitchen is well-outfitted and offers ample counter space to prep meals with ease. Between the counter seating with two stools, an eight-seat dining table and a huge picnic table on the deck, you’ll have plenty of options to appreciate those meals together as a family. The great room area features a wall-mounted flat screen TV and cozy seating with great sight lines for all. However, just outside, the furnished upper deck offers really unbeatable vistas of the ocean all the way out to where it meets the sky to form a crystal-clear horizon.
BY THE SEA HATTERAS also places you conveniently close to the magnificent shopping and dining in Hatteras Village, plenty of open spaces to walk the two dogs you are welcome to bring with you, the ferry to Ocracoke Island, and fertile fishing waters that make Hatteras so alluring to anglers. Bring your catch home for a fresh-from-the-sea meal ... the home comes complete with a lighted fish cleaning station with running water. Located in Hatteras, this vacation home is on the beach. Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum and Frisco Native American Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Village Marina and Hatteras Harbor Marina. Frisco Mini Golf and Go Karts and Buxton Seafood are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
