Welcome to Pier House! Ideal for modest groups, this cute oceanfront bungalow provides extraordinary ocean vistas from inside and outside, with nothing between you and the beach but a sand dune. You are steps away from world-class fishing on the Rodanthe pier!

Single Level: Outside you will find an ocean-facing sun deck with ocean and pier vistas, a back deck with a gas grille, a sand path to the beach, and a foot wash station. Inside, the sunny Great Room greets you with ocean vistas, a flat-screen TV/BluRay DVD, and ample seating. Show off your cooking skills in the well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, counter seating for 3, a dining table that seats 7, and a closet for the stacked washer and dryer. Off the Great Room is Bedroom #1, furnished with a King bed, a flat-screen TV/BluRay DVD, and a private full bathroom. Off the kitchen are Bedrooms #2 and #3, which share the hallway bathroom. Bedroom #2 has a Full bed, a flat-screen TV/BluRay DVD, and deck access. Bedroom #3 is furnished with 2 constructed-in Twin Bunk Sets and has a flat-screen TV/BluRay DVD and ocean vistas.

Please note: Due to the new decking and parking, you must access the home through the back bedroom door.

Extras: 4 TVs, 4 DVD players, beach access close by, ocean-facing sun deck, foot wash, books, games, and a gas grille. No Smoking/Vaping. Dogs Welcome. Distance to Beach Access: Oceanfront. Linens and towels are included all year. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made except for sleep couches, top bunk beds, and trundle beds in which case the sheets are supplied. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the home sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom, and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

IMPORTANT BOOKING NOTES/ LEASE AGREEMENT/ ADDITIONAL OPTIONAL FEES: Please read the RENTAL AGREEMENT during the booking process. Immediately after booking you will receive an e-mail with instructions to electronically sign your lease agreement to complete your reservation.

We offer travel insurance to all guests as an option to purchase at that time. There may be additional optional costs charged to your reservation that may not be able to be listed on this site (examples: pet fee, pool heat, early check-in, security deposit, special events, etc).

Located in Rodanthe, this vacation home is on the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Sticking to a rental budget:

  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Rodanthe. Reserve your vacation home in Spring or Fall to enjoy warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • Some property managers offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your group before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer renters an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally costs between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.

  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is almost always accessible online. Otherwise, email the property management company before reserving the vacation property. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to establish what configuration is optimal for your trip.
  • Traveling with pets? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Pet fees or costs might be applied to your invoice.

  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all personal items. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property a final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your family have a wonderful time? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your property and/or property management company was terrific, they would love to hear it.
