Come appreciate our eclectic and colorful home. Our beach home offers vistas from 3 different levels. Our cavernous home sits on 2 tons so there is plenty of exterior space to discover. We have numerous tropical plants and a water fountain that help create a calming environment. The exterior is frequently visited by many types of birds, deer families and a community cat that we lovingly named, Spyro. We provide bird seed and encourage our guest to feed our furry friends as they savor the tranquility of the front exterior.
The interior is wonderfully setup on 2 levels. . The first level contains 2 bedrooms both with premium beds and a full-sized bathroom. The living room, kitchen, dining room, wine bar and laundry room are also on this level. The master suite located on the 2nd and 3rd levels includes a spa shower, jetted hot tub and a loft lounge. The 1/2 bathroom, office and exercise area are also on the 2nd level. There are balconies on every level and on both sides of the home. Guest get to wake up to a sunrise over the ocean and end their days with a splendid sunset over the sound.

Tricks and tips to get the optimal Hatteras rental home experience:
Find your perfect rental home:
- Summer months are high season in Avon. To find the best value, try changing your group's trip dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer great weather, , and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer.
- Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
- Property managers usually offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
- Many property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Hatteras area travel guide magazines which will include money-saving deals, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Use filters to narrow your rental search:
- To start, have your family agree to the best dates and a spending budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. Entire Beach-Front Home, 5 Balconies, Breathtaking Views, Private Beach Access has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
- Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is generally available on booking pages. If not, reach out to the property owner before reserving your rental. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds in living rooms.
- Visiting for a single event or attraction? Use a map search to find nearby properties.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are included before booking.
- Are you bringing the family pet? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional fees or charges might be applied to your agreement.
Have a wonderful stay:
- Get the owner's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental.
- To ensure that damages aren't linked to your visit, note any problem areas during arrival. message the host right away to record any damages. If there is a dispute, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be very helpful.
- Hosts are available to help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable visitors bothering your peaceful neighborhood. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and places you would've not otherwise known!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can usually help. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
- Lock your vacation home while you're out. Keep your property safe!
- Just prior to departing, take a final walk-through to confirm you have not leave anything behind. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Inspect the property a final time and scan for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, ensure that you take photos of the rental to record its condition.
- After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on good reviews to propel more bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.
