◦ Sanitizer is also used between each folding task to keep all surfaces clean
◦ After the dirty laundry in placed the washer, our staff disinfects the surfaces in the laundry area such as the knobs and the door pull on the washing machine and dryer
◦ Laundry bins that hold dirty and clean laundry are kept separated and washed between uses with bleach or other EPA – registered disinfectants

When to reserve a Hatteras rental & When to go:
- The earlier you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved very early. Booking your rental 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
- Summer is the most expensive season along the coast of NC. Booking your Hatteras vacation rental in Fall or Spring months is a good way to save money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a reduced rate.
- Property management companies often offer their guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for more information.
- Look for your local Hatteras area magazine upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitors guide magazines have deals for local attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.
