Enter SUNNY SHORES in the first level game room with 9 ft. Mahogany pool table, 2 TVs, wet bar with full size refrigerator, and 42" Plasma TV home theater system. Also on this level is a king bedroom, full bath with bespoke tile, and media room with 60" Intelligent TV home theater system with surround sound system and couch bed. Step out to the private deck with hot tub overlooking the shining pool. The mid level offers four bedrooms including a king master bedroom with TV, private balcony with sound view and private bath with whirlpool tub for two. Another king master bedroom offers a TV, and access to the deck overlooking the pool and the sound. A third master bedroom has a queen bed, TV, and private balcony overlooking the sound. The fourth bedroom is the kids room with two pyramid bunk beds and uses the full bathroom located on the first level of the home. The upper level features a classic nautical theme in the great room with comfortable seating, home theater system. Decks on each side offer vistas of the ocean and sound. When to book & When to go:
- The earlier you can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved early. Booking your vacation property 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
- Summer months are high season in the Hatteras area. Booking your vacation rental in the Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable properties.
- Property managers sometimes offer rate reductions for active duty military and veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
- Property management companies frequently offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.

- Note any issues with the rental during check in, and immediately send them to the property manager. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that can be valuable if damages are attributed to your stay.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a terrific source for finding the best local beaches.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
- When it's time to leave, take a walk-through to confirm you didn't forget anything. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Inspect the rental one final time and scan for any damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can. If the host is not available, remember to take photos of the property to record its condition.
