OCEANVIEW Rodanthe - Hatteras Island Estates - This shining with bespoke tile floors, hand painted murals, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, walnut floors in the great room and fine detailing throughout. Enter SUNNY SHORES in the first level game room with 9 ft. Mahogany pool table, 2 TVs, wet bar with full size refrigerator, and 42" Plasma TV home theater system. Also on this level is a king bedroom, full bath with bespoke tile, and media room with 60" Intelligent TV home theater system with surround sound system and couch bed. Step out to the private deck with hot tub overlooking the shining pool. The mid level offers four bedrooms including a king master bedroom with TV, private balcony with sound view and private bath with whirlpool tub for two. Another king master bedroom offers a TV, and access to the deck overlooking the pool and the sound. A third master bedroom has a queen bed, TV, and private balcony overlooking the sound. The fourth bedroom is the kids room with two pyramid bunk beds and uses the full bathroom located on the first level of the home. The upper level features a classic nautical theme in the great room with comfortable seating, home theater system. Decks on each side offer vistas of the ocean and sound. The kitchen is fresh with glass front cabinets and ample dining room for guests with 2 tables and breakfast bar. The powder room is close by as are two more bedrooms, one master with queen bed, TV, private balcony, sound view and whirlpool tub and a king master suite with TV, and full view of the sound and an ocean view balcony.

Dogs are welcome for a fee of $200/dog/week.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the $200 weekly fee will apply for each dog and will be added once your reservation is finalized.

Vacation Rental Protection Plan: This required non-returnable $95 plan covers accidental damage within the home with a coverage limit of $3,000. It does not cover theft or willful misconduct. You must notify Surf or Sound Realty of any damage that occurs during your occupancy or this coverage will be void. Coverage is effective at time of check-in and ends at time of check-out.

Finding your perfect vacation home:

  • Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer months are the most expensive season in Rodanthe. Book your rental home in the Spring or Fall to get the benefit of warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Property managers sometimes offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Ask your host or property manager if rate reductions are available for your group.
  • Property managers usually offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gasoline expenses.
