Explore the second level's three accommodating bedrooms: a king bedroom accesses the hall bath, the bunk bedroom has a semi-private bath, the king master has access to a shady deck with hot tub and hammock. All three bathrooms on this level are outfitted in striking tile. Upstairs, you'll find the queen master bedroom and a full bathroom to serve the upstairs. It's painless to live anxiety-complimentary with the broad ocean vistas from the welcoming great room with 50" home theater system with surround sound, DVD/stereo, well-appointed kitchen and dining area. The living area offers a wet bar with mini-refrigerator.   • Summer is the most expensive season in coastal NC. To find the best rental home within budget, we strongly suggest reserving in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your family qualifies for a special rate.
  • Property management companies frequently offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance.   • Inspect the rental a final time and look for any damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, take video and pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
