Your family will appreciate having their very own solar-heated private pool right in the backyard for around-the-clock outdoor fun. A reverse floor plan takes full advantage of the ocean vistas, which can be adored from all the common areas on the top level. Vaulted ceilings with original wood paneling and exposed beams add to the coastal appeal of this classic beach bungalow. A roomy living area provides plenty of comfortable seating, with an open-concept layout ideal for gathering. It leads out to a wrap-around oceanfront deck where you can soak up some Vitamin D while appreciating the view. Or make your way to the screened-in porch and relax in the shade with a cold drink. Back inside, everybody can pitch in with meal prep using the well-equipped kitchen boasting charming granite countertops and bar seating. The first of four bedrooms is also located on the top level and includes deck access and an adjacent hall bath that's been freshly refreshed. Three more bedrooms are located on the lower level, along with two more updated baths. Sandescape welcomes dogs, so your four-legged companions can join you on the pet-friendly beaches of Hatteras Island. Located in Salvo where the beaches are wide and uncrowded, Sandescape is in a slower-paced, laid-back area while still being just a short drive away from shopping, dining and outdoor activities. Just 2.5 miles south you'll find the fashionable Salvo Day Use Area, where you can experience the other side of the island. Maintained by the National Park Service, this family-friendly soundside beach includes a picnic area and restroom facilities. It's the ideal place for launching kayaks, kiteboards and SUP's. For more adventure, take a short drive south to Cape Hatteras where you can climb the lighthouse, go driving on the beach, or hop on a ferry to Ocracoke. Animals allowed - dogs only. Located in Salvo, this vacation home is by the ocean. Chicamacomico Life-Saving Station Historic Site and Museum and Studio 12 are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Rodanthe Pier and Ocean Air Sports.
