Unwind on the private dock to the lake and listen as the water laps at the shore. The morning pink glow coming over trees to the east and a gorgeous sunset reflecting off the water in the evenings. During the heat of the day, float around in the pool or show off your mixing skills at the Tiki bar. Ample pool deck and deck furnishings makes calming with the whole family simple, all while appreciating a cookout with the gas grille. And in the evenings, take over the hot tub in the corner and savor the handsome vistas. Head inside to the game room and challenge your family to a game of foosball, shuffleboard, or poker table. Vacation Rental Protection Plan: This required non-returnable $95 plan covers accidental damage within the home with a coverage limit of $3,000. It does not cover theft or willful misconduct. You must notify Surf or Sound Realty of any damage that occurs during your occupancy or this coverage will be void. Coverage is effective at time of check-in and ends at time of check-out.

When to reserve a Hatteras rental & When to go:

• Summer time is high season in the Hatteras area. Booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is a great way to save money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable homes.
