Located just steps away from the roomy beaches of Hatteras Island lies Drumstick! This 6-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom Avon rental home has plenty of room for everybody to soak up the sun and savor some Outer Banks fun. Centrally located in the heart of Avon, you'll be able to appreciate great local shopping, dining, and more close by. You'll also get to enjoy a short drive to historical landmarks and attractions. Eateries like Nino's Pizza and Bros Sandwich Shack are close by as well as the grocery store Food Lion for all of your grocery needs. A 10-min. drive south will bring you to the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse and even better? You're just about a 2-min. walk to the beach from your rental home! DrumStick is also part of The Greater Kinnakeet Shores Homeowners Association which provides unlimited use of the sound side Olympic-sized pool, kiddie pool, 2 tennis courts, community sound access, exercise trails, and 69 acres of freshwater lakes!

The kitchen features everything you need to prepare meals during your stay, including cavernous countertops, stainless steel appliances, and both Keurig and standard drip coffee makers, along with a family-sized crockpot, griddle, and Kitchen Aid Mixer, and plenty of new pots and pans and dishes. Choose to dine at the breakfast bar with seating for 7, dining room seating for 8, and additional seating for 4 at the bar area. Access to the furnished sun deck rounds out the communal spaces and marvelous vistas of the top level. Catch the sunrise over the ocean from the top deck East side and spectacular sunsets from the top deck West side. DrumStick also features a Sunset Room with a wet bar, countertop ice maker, and wine cooler. The ideal place to sit and enjoy the sunsets over Pamlico Sound. When it's time for bed, head to one of the comfortable bedrooms for a good nighttime's rest. Each of the primary bedrooms has painless bathroom and deck access for your convenience. The top-floor master bedroom includes a jetted tub and a sizable walk-in shower. Have an electric car? Not a problem at DrumStick. You can charge your car for complimentary using a NEMA 14-50 240-volt outlet. Just remember to pack your car's EV charger. There is also plenty of parking and two carports for covered car storage. Additional amenities at Drumstick include a peaceful workspace for school or work. Two computer monitors are available for guest use, a private hot tub, and a rec room with a pool table, flat-screen TV, a Bluetooth Sound System, and plenty of board games and puzzles for those family game nights!
