Perfectly located in the heart of Avon, you are less than 130 yards to beach access, yet convenient to the Avon pier, shopping, and dining —this 5-bedroom, 4.5-bath home is ideal for the entire family. The fun does not stop after a day in the sun! Listen to the waves crash from the broad open decks or take in the spectacular Hatteras Island nighttime sky from the top deck as you soak in the bubbling hot tub.
Ground Level: Exterior amenities include, an outdoor shower, fish cleaning table, plenty of parking space, community tennis court access, and community pool access (open Memorial Day to the last Saturday in September).
First Level: As you enter the home, you will find 4 comfortable bedrooms, each with Intelligent TVs. Bedroom #1 is a well-sized King bedroom with a private full bath with direct covered deck access. Bedroom #2 is a Queen bedroom with a roomy ensuite full bath with direct covered deck access. Bedroom #3 is furnished with a Queen bed, and Bedroom #4 is furnished with a bunk bed and a twin bed with a trundle. Bedrooms #3 and #4 share the hall bath. The laundry area is located on this level.
Mid-Level: A sun-filled open great room welcomes you with cozy seating, dining for 8 with additional seating close by, and a breakfast bar that seats 4. The completely supplied kitchen has everything you need to prepare your favorite meal or today's fresh catch. Access to the sizable sun deck with an 8-person hot tub, great for after-dinner calming. A half bath is located off the living area.
Top Level: Queen bedroom with an ensuite full bath and a private balcony with ocean and sound vistas.
Extras: Hot Tub, Community Pool and Tennis Courts, 6 TVs, DVD player, WiFi, Keurig, grille, board games, outdoor shower, deck furnishings, fish cleaning table, and a pack-n-play. No Smoking/Vaping. You will have access to Kinnakeet Shores Resort amenities. Kinnakeet Shores is the biggest planned community on Hatteras Island. This resort-style community features an impressive array of amenities, including 69 acres of freshwater lakes, an outdoor Olympic-sized pool with extensive sun decks, and two Har-Tru tennis courts. Shore Beats Work has exclusive access to the Kinnakeet Community Pool and Tennis Courts in Avon. Kinnakeet Shores Community Pool is open from Memorial Day to the last Saturday in September.
Linens and towels are supplied all year. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made except for sleep couches, top bunk beds, and trundle beds in which case the sheets are included. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the home sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom, and a bath mat for each shower or tub.
Booking: During the booking process you will be asked to enter a credit card number, nothing will be charged to this card. You will receive an e-mail 24 hours after booking with instructions to log on to the guest web to electronically sign your lease agreement and make your advance payment. You will have 10 days to sign your lease agreement and pay your advance payment to avoid cancellation. We offer optional travel insurance that you can opt in or out of on your lease agreement. Your final payment will be due 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations booked within 45 days of arrival will have 72 hours to sign the lease agreement and submit payment in full.

- Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental to make sure you've collected everything. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Inspect the rental a final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can. If the host isn't available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition.
- Did you have a terrific time? Most rental managers make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your rental and/or property management company was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was inoperable and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
