Semi-oceanfront, with direct beach access, this piece of heaven in Salvo has a private pool with complimentary solar heat, 6-person hot tub, 2 charcoal grilles, and a covered tiki bar with mini refrigerator, outside sink, electric outlets, a giant bar area and rope lights to keep the event going into the evening. The first level features a game room with pool table and two master bedrooms. The second floor also has two master bedrooms and two additional bedrooms, all with handsome vistas over open decks. Windows galore bring light into the top level great room with vaulted ceiling, and a breakfast bar separates the kitchen from the roomy dining area. Dine on the screened porch or watch the sunrise from the oceanside decks. You may want to book the top floor's fifth master suite for yourself, with its vaulted ceiling, Jacuzzi tub, and sliding doors onto the deck. If you demand excellence, CASA AZUL is what it's all about.

Dogs are welcome for a fee of $200/dog/week.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the $200 weekly fee will apply for each dog and will be added once your reservation is finalized.

Vacation Rental Protection Plan: This required non-returnable $95 plan covers accidental damage within the home with a coverage limit of $3,000. It does not cover theft or willful misconduct. You must notify Surf or Sound Realty of any damage that occurs during your occupancy or this coverage will be void. Coverage is effective at time of check-in and ends at time of check-out.

Get the best value:

  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • To get the largest rental home for your budget, we highly recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at Hatteras restaurants, beaches, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Property managers often offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for specifics.
