Nearby is a king master bedroom with private bath and a additional room with set of bunk beds. How to get the best value:

  • June, July, and August are high season in Rodanthe. To get the best value, consider changing your vacation dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer great temperatures, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • The earlier you can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are reserved early. Booking your rental six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.

  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected everything. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the property a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a wonderful time? Most rental management companies make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your property and/or property management company was great, they always love to hear your praise.
