OCEANVIEW Waves - Island Pines Dr. - Located only 4 tons from the ocean, this thoughtfully designed home has three separate entertainment areas, including a game room with 7' pool table and wet bar with refrigerator, a den with couch bed, and a great room with enormous screen TV/DVD with surround sound and ocean vistas. Exit the first floor game room and step down to the deck with private swimming pool and a bubbly 6 person hot tub. Savor wraparound sundeck and shaded deck for reading. When you're not playing in the waves, you'll appreciate being in PLAYA-N-WAVES.

Located in Rodanthe, this vacation home is near the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Cape Hatteras National Seashore and Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge, while Chicamacomico Life-Saving Station Historic Site and Museum and Studio 12 are cultural highlights. Rodanthe Pier and Ocean Air Sports are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

How to get the best rental home value:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. To find the best value, try changing your trip dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer warm temperatures, , and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer.
  • The earlier you can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental properties are booked early. Booking your vacation property up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental home.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
