SUNRISE, SUNSET, REPEAT offers an broad private pool area where you can splash around in a shining pool, laze in the hot tub, or just relax on poolside loungers or at the shaded Tiki bar. The first level features a huge game room where you can challenge your family & friends to a game of pool, foosball or poker, while others can watch their favorite movies on the 65" intelligent TV. Snacks are painless to make at the wrap around bar with a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and ice machine. There's also a close by cabana half bath on this level with convenient access from the pool deck. A multi-level elevator provides simple access from the lower level to upper levels of this well-equipped bungalow.
Upstairs on the second level, appreciate a family movie nighttime in the theater room with the enormous projection screen, stadium seating and surround sound. Nearby, you'll find three inviting king master bedrooms, each with a private bathroom and intelligent TV. Each bedroom has direct access to the deck and handsome vistas on the south facing deck. Sticking to your spending budget:
- June, July, and August are high season in the Hatteras area. Booking your vacation rental in the Fall or Spring is a great way to save money on your vacation. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
- Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Some owners offer rate reductions for active duty military and veterans. Ask your host or property manager if rate reductions are available for your family before you book.
- Booking websites usually offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance protection. - Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are a great resource to find the best local scenic spots.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home while you are out, just like you would back home.
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all personal belongings. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Walk through the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, ensure that you take video of the property to record its condition.
- Did your family have a wonderful stay? Many rental managers make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property manager was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was inoperable and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
