Set on Avon's pristine north end and accessible only by bridge, Island Creek Resort offers over 1,000 feet of shallow sound-front access. Windsurfers, kite surfers, kayakers, and kids will adore this ultra-friendly location, where miles of open Pamlico Sound facilitate launching, fishing, exploring, calming, or just horsing around in the water. Please note that the fireplace is not available for guest use.

The boat ramp and docks handle modest boats and personal watercraft. Acres of manicured sod keep Island Creek Resort looking good and feeling good underfoot. Unwind in ICR's community pool or grab the Coppertone and head across the street to Avon's super beachfront. Spring and fall guests sing ICR's praises for board sports, while families regale in this secret spot for summer getaways. Seasoned travelers even head to ICR for their winter holidays. The boat slips are not for overnight use, they are only for loading and unloading.

You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking, which will be sent to your e-mail. You will not be able to check in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement.

Please Note: Guests have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility. Additional details around this facility will be shared in your check-in e-mail and during the check-in process. The club is typically open mid-May to mid-October, depending on weather.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to family pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is complimentary parking available for 4 cars.

About the Area

Located in Avon, this vacation home is in a rural area and on the waterfront. Studio 12 and Kinnakeet Clay Works are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Ocean Air Sports and Hatteras Island Boardsports.
