SEMI-SOUNDFRONT Hatteras - Hatteras Harbor Ct. Vistas, Vistas, Vistas in every direction from every room and deck. Appreciate the peaceful pace of the morning as you drink your coffee and observe the Pelicans as they search for breakfast. Watch the charter fleet returning in the afternoon and the pretty Pamlico Sound sunsets with family and friends.

You are due a vacation this year and we can’t think of a better place to vacation than this modern classic Hatteras bungalow. With bespoke wainscoting, shiplap ceilings, modren countertops and tile backsplashes, this home is straight out of Coastal Living magazine. As you pull into the driveway, you are greeted by a covered front porch with craftsman detailing. The elevator does the heavy lifting for you so you can start your vacation off right at your private swimming pool with inset kiddie pool and swim-up ledge. Soak in some sun in the outdoor lounges or hang at the poolside Tiki bar for cool beverages and snack buffets.

There could be no bluer vistas than from the decks of this home as you relax in Adirondack chairs with a favorite novel. Water surrounds you at DUE EAST with the Pamlico Sound on two sides and a marina on another. As you enter the home through the entryway, two king master bedrooms are on either side, each with master baths with bespoke tile. Two more master bedrooms are located upstairs, one with 2 single beds and the other a king master suite with french doors leading to your private porch overlooking the pool.

The great room on the first level envelopes you in professionally decorated southern appeal. The kitchen is appointed with top of the line GE stainless steel appliances including french door refrigerator, microwave drawer and gourmet gas range. Meals couldn't be more delightful to create in this bright space. The dining area is near the kitchen where you can dine together at the enormous table. Sink into the comfortable couch in front of the Intelligent home theater system after your meal and revel in the day's activity. Head your car DUE EAST towards Hatteras Island for a calming vacation.

About the Area

Located in Hatteras, this vacation home is near the beach. Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum and Frisco Native American Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Frisco Mini Golf and Go Karts and Buxton Seafood. Uncle Eddy's Frozen Custard and 18-Hole Mini Golf and Ocracoke Pony Pens are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Getting the best rental value:

  • Summer months are the most expensive season along the coast of NC. Booking in Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some owners offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Property management companies often offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
