Visit the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse further south or head north and discover the Bodie Island Lighthouse and spend the day in Nags Head. In Avon, discover the great local shopping, dining, and more, only a 10 min. walk away! Sunset Cove is also pet friendly so the family dog is more than welcome to join in on the fun too. Even better? You can walk to the beach access via Wahoo Circle or Sandfiddler Lane so you'll be sure to have countless beach days and many memories with your friends and family.
