This hideaway is a welcoming refuge from the moment you pull into the driveway and unload your suitcases. There is plenty of space to store your beach and watersports gear, with room to hang and dry ten kiteboard sails under the home. There is also an air compressor which makes pumping up kites a breeze and an outdoor shower to rinse off after a fun-filled day on the water. The yard offers plenty of space to rig watersports gear or relax. Convenient windsports access offers the ability to conveniently launch kiteboards, kayaks, or stand-up-paddleboards directly from the backyard.
A short set of steps leads to the first level which features a game room with pool table and foosball, along with other amenities including a 65" Intelligent TV with a game console including 60 games, kitchenette with refrigerator, and a half bath. There is access to the outside deck, leading you to the shining pool, huge 8-person hot tub for a relaxing soak, and a poolside bar to enjoy a invigorating drink. This level also has a master bedroom with pyramid bunk beds featuring a 60" Intelligent TV as well as a theater room with a 75" home theater system and stadium seating.
You'll find five master bedrooms on the second level, each with Intelligent TVs, and the laundry room with sink and linen closet are located close by. For secluded contemplation, there is a peaceful lounge with a wet bar, refrigerator, entertainment center and access to a shaded deck.
The top level has two master bedrooms with Intelligent TVs, one featuring a sizable whirlpool tub. The well-equipped kitchen has 2 fridges, 2 dishwashers, dual wall ovens, 6 burner cooktop, and broad breakfast bar. The roomy great room has an entertainment center with a 75" Intelligent TV and opens to a wide sundeck. Nearby is a half-bath and wet bar with a 30-bottle capacity wine cooler. All levels of the home have sensational sound vistas, ideal for watching the setting sun after a day of adventure on the water, and a enormous selection of books, games and puzzles will help you enjoy your visit.
Guests of SOUND ADVENTURE will have complimentary access to Wind Over Waves conveniences including a 100-foot pier and community boat ramp. With community beach access within walking distance via the Hatteras Colony subdivision, outdoor adventure is right around the corner. Cost saving strategies:
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Hatteras area. To find the most suitable rental home within budget, we recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at Hatteras restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
