This three-bedroom/three- and one-half-bath has everything you need to savor the things you appreciate ... and maybe something new to add to your personal story.

You can’t get much closer to the water’s edge than at this Pamlico Sound location with its bulk-headed backyard that’s ideal for fishing, crabbing, windsurfing, and kayaking. There’s ample storage, so bring your gear. An outdoor shower makes it simple to rinse off from a day on the water or after a game of hoops in the driveway. Keep the competitive spirit going inside where there’s a game room with a pool table, and a wet bar with a sink and mini refrigerator to keep your beverages gorgeously chilled. When you’re ready to relax, a five-person hot tub overlooking the sound but protected from the elements is the rewarding finish to an striking day.

Two of the home’s bedrooms are located on the first level. There’s a king master with a private ensuite bath and a bedroom with a pyramid bunk with trundle that’s ideal for the kids. All of the rooms have TVs. The third bedroom, a king master with a private ensuite bath featuring a jetted tub is located on the second level and opens onto the great room. Highlighted by cathedral ceilings, plentiful windows and colorful décor, the airy and cheery space will have you feeling like you are floating on air — or maybe water — as the vistas are like being on a boat at sea.
