OCEANVIEW Frisco - Both the ocean and sound vistas are priceless with a vacation at handsome and accommodating SAND DOLLARS. Set the suitcases in the dry entry, as you start your vacation off right with a fast walk to the beach, or even better appreciate a dip in the invigorating private pool. Step inside, and you'll find the game room that's packed with fun indoor activities including foosball, a combo bumper pool/poker table, TV, and a wet bar with a full refrigerator and microwave. Nearby is a bedroom with two bunk beds that has simple access to the full hall bath. On the mid level, everybody can sleep in comfort in one of three king master bedrooms. Unwind in the calming hot tub on the mid-level deck then toss the wet towels into the mid-level laundry, and head upstairs to the bright and sunny great room with LCD TV with surround sound and tons of seating for everybody in the group. Whip up a family feast in the gourmet kitchen with Silestone countertops, dual ovens, 2 dishwashers, wine refrigerator, and commercial grade ice machine, or simply take a nap in the top level king master bedroom with TV and private bath with Jacuzzi. Once you've stepped out to the top level decks to savor a sound sunset or an ocean sunrise, you'll understand why it makes a lot of sense to stay at SAND DOLLARS.

The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Buxton Woods Coastal Preserve, while Frisco Native American Museum and Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum are cultural highlights. Cost saving strategies:
- The sooner you can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are reserved early. Reserving your vacation rental 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental.
- Summer is the most expensive season along the coast of NC. Booking a rental in Fall or Spring months is a good way to save on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your group qualifies for a special rate.
- Property management companies frequently offer renters an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for details.

- Traveling with pets? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional pet fees or charges may be applied to your agreement.
- If there's a certain Hatteras attraction you long to visit, browse homes that are either near by, or those that cater to your needs.
- Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. .
During your stay:
- Review arrival and departure procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and save the directions to your smartphone.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, elevator or washer/dryer. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent quite a few problems.
- Protect the owner (and your things!) by locking the property while you are away, just like you would at home.
- Document any damages to the rental during check in, and immediately send them to the host. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be very helpful if a dispute is filed.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable visitors disrupting your quiet neighborhood. Use the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and attractions you would have not otherwise known about!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can frequently help. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
- Just before checking out, complete a final walk-through to confirm you did not leave anything behind. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Walk through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, take photos and video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Leave a review! Hosts rely on great reviews to drive future reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will will be grateful for your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
