SEMI-OCEANFRONT Avon — Due East Rd. — Have you ever really thought what it means to be “in a good place,” where the stars align to give you the beach hideaway you’ve longed dreamed for? That sweet spot is THE GOOD PLACE — a five-bedroom/four-full-and one-half bath home that has everything you need to placate your soul. Sitting two tons back from the ocean, this home is ideal for a family to appreciate each other’s company in freshly refreshed surroundings where the sound of the surf is always present.

A concrete driveway places the home well off the road and gives the kids room to safely roam and play, especially when there’s a brand-new basketball hoop and a constructed-in playset in back to occupy their energy. Two outdoor showers are ideal for returns from the beach and a charcoal grille stands ready to accommodate the fish you caught that day and cleaned at the lighted fish cleaning station. Inside on the lower level are four bedrooms: a queen master with an ensuite bath, two additional queen bedrooms and one with two sets of bunk beds that share two full hallway baths. The final bedroom, a newly furnished king master with ensuite bath, is located on the top level. All bedrooms are outfitted with Roku TVs.

Also on the top level, a great room offers a communal counterpoint to the home’s peaceful spaces, an open and airy getaway where families can relax, revitalize and restore from their Hatteras Island adventures. The roomy kitchen with its additional-huge refrigerator is well-equipped and offers ample counter space to prep meals with ease. Between the counter seating with two stools, a 10-seat dining table, and an additional counter-height table with seating for two, you’ll have plenty of options to savor those meals together as a family. The great room area features a 50-inch flat screen Intelligent TV and comfortable seating with ideal sight lines for all. A few steps up from the kitchen is a additional loft space where a wet bar with a sink and drink refrigerator makes for a great place to relax with a beverage. Even better, mix up those elixirs and find your way to the wide, wrap-around deck where a six-person hot tub offers a relaxing way to wind down the day. Sound good? Then book THE GOOD PLACE today.
