Welcome to Beach Lake, a roomy family-friendly getaway with over 4,000 sq. ft. of living space that will soon become your favorite vacation spot on the Outer Banks! Perched on the edge of your personal pond, you have access to the paddleboat the owner thoughtfully supplied. Also appreciate a huge recreation room with a pool table, air hockey a full-size refrigerator, and a seven-person hot tub that will melt all of your cares away.

The well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and plenty of room to prepare that fresh seafood dinner will also be a big hit for the family chef. The dining area will conveniently seat 10 or dine al fresco on the porch. Family will savor gathering together in the enormous great room, with ample seating and a sizable flatscreen TV. A elegant ornamental fireplace provides ambiance but is not for guest use. At the end of the day, everybody can relax in one of the six bedrooms with very comfortable linens. 3 levels of cavernous decks with plenty of seating offer the ideal place to sit back and relax.

Savor the outdoors with a volleyball net, a cornhole set, and a firepit close to the pond. Under the home you will find an additional recreation area with a ping-pong table, and a round table for games. The 10x20 swimming pool is located under the home so you can keep cool on those hot summer days. There is an under home entrance for your convenience. Your four-legged family members will appreciate running and playing in the enormous yard.

Appreciate unlimited passes to the Rodanthe Pier, located about 2 miles away! Beach Lake is also within 3 miles of the Salvo Day Use area, a very trendy soundfront recreation area. Enjoy the beach from the modern access area in Rodanthe that is equipped with ample parking, a bathhouse, outdoor showers, picnic tables and more! Beach Lake is about 30 mins. from the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, and an hour away from the Ocracoke ferry.

Free bed and bath linens are supplied for weekly reservations.

Beach Lake includes credit for $245 in beach gear units from our partners at VayK Life. Stay between April 6th and October 19th, 2024 (7-nighttime minimum), and use your beach gear credit for items such as bicycles, beach chairs, umbrellas, paddleboards, and more!

Beach Lake is pet-friendly. There is an additional charge for guests bringing family pets, which will be added and collected after booking. Pet costs range from $161-231 depending on the property, and will be assessed state and local taxes.

Layout:

Ground Level: Parking area, volleyball net, firepit, cornhole boards, storage areas for boards, kites, fishing poles and pond with a paddle boat and life jackets. Fenced-in yard for the pets, recreation area with ping pong table and a round table for games.

Lower Level: Entrance that leads to the recreation room with a pool table and a refrigerator, washer and dryer, king en suite with private bath and a walk-in closet, queen bedroom with a half bath across the hall, pyramid bunk bedroom, Jack and Jill bath, bedroom with full bed and a twin bed.

Mid Level: Cavernous living area with a gas fireplace and deck access, huge well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, dining area with seating for ten, half bath, king en suite with walk-in closet and private bath featuring a jetted tub and bespoke tiled shower, covered porch with table and chairs, 7-person hot tub on the deck.

Top Level: Queen bedroom with an observation deck and ocean and sound vistas.

Getting the most from your budget:

  • The sooner you can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved early. Reserving your rental home 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Summertime is high season in Waves. Booking a rental in Spring or Fall is an excellent way to save money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Some property management companies offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your host or property manager if discounts are available for your group.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer customers an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses.   • Lock your vacation home while you're out and about. Protect your property!
  • During check-in, make note of any issues with the rental property and immediately alert the property manager. Record all coorespondence.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome visitors disrupting your peace. Use the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and scenic spots you would've never otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can often help. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all belongings. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the property one final time and look for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the host isn't available, ensure that you take photos and video of the property to record its condition.
  • Remember to leave a review! Property owners rely on excellent feedback to drive more bookings. They'll be grateful for your review.
