OCEANVIEW Waves - La Waves Drive - SPLISH SPLASH, with its private pool, hot tub, game room with pool table, and location just two tons from the ocean, is certain to make a splash with your vacation crew. The home is located on a peaceful cul-de-sac in the heart of Waves, where the beach is uncrowded and the mood is laid back. The ground floor of the home has a huge game room, a laundry room and double carports. On the first floor are five generous size bedrooms including a queen master with private bath and a king bedroom that has a semi-private bathroom. Three other bedrooms (queen, 2 single, pyramid and regular bunk) share a hall bath. Three bedrooms open onto a shaded deck and one bedroom opens to a covered porch. The second floor has another master bedroom with private bath and Jacuzzi tub. The sizable great room with dining area provides the ideal place for entertaining or just calming. The well-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar was designed with the prepare in mind. An broad ocean facing deck provides gorgeous vistas of the Atlantic inviting you to SPLISH SPLASH this year.

• Summertime is the most expensive season in Waves. To book the best rental home for your budget, we suggest booking in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular attractions. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
• Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if special discounts are available for your family before you book.
• Property managers usually offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.

• Go through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever possible. If the host isn't available, ensure that you take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
