Sidle up to the poolside Tiki bar for a tasty drink or hop into the bubbly hot tub ideally placed alongside the bar. The beach is effortlessly accessed from the property by the cleared path. Inside the home discover the enormous game room featuring pool table, wet bar with full size refrigerator and microwave and seating. Adjacent to the game room is a theater room with electric reclining leather seating for 12-14 people with 85-inch QLED 4K Dolby Vision UHD Intelligent TV and Bose surround sound system. A queen bedroom is located on this first level with access to the full bath shared by the game room. The mid-level hosts four master bedrooms, all generously sized with private full baths. Located on the beach, this vacation home is in Farrow Shores, a neighborhood in Salvo. Chicamacomico Life-Saving Station Historic Site and Museum and Studio 12 are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Rodanthe Pier and Ocean Air Sports. Hatteras Island Boardsports and Avon Fishing Pier are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

When to visit Salvo & When to book:

  • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during Winter holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer is high season in Salvo. Booking your vacation home in Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable homes. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Some hosts offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Booking websites typically offer guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses.
