OCEANFRONT Hatteras - Summerplace Dr. Take a dip on the wild side in DARE DREAMER. Splash around in the pool while your family grilles up lunch under the pergola. Sit at the tiki bar in the pool area and make a fast drink to sip on as you watch the kids play. Inside, challenge your family to a game of pool in the game room. The first king bedroom is off the game room. A full bath is also found on this level. Go up the stairs, to the second level where you’ll find two master king bedrooms with private baths and you can put the kids to sleep in a room with a pyramid bunk and trundle or a room with a two single beds. Once the kids are asleep, slip onto the deck and take a break in the hot tub. Up the stairs on the final level, fall in adore with the huge open concept great room. Cozy up on the couch, with a book or play a game on the floor while you watch a movie on the home theater system. The kids can put on a concert with the karaoke machine. Make everybody back home jealous as you share spectacular ocean photos from the top deck and eat lunch on the picnic table while you do it. About the Area

Located in Hatteras, this vacation home is on the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Buxton Woods Coastal Preserve, while Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum and Frisco Native American Museum are cultural highlights. Frisco Mini Golf and Go Karts and Buxton Seafood are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

When to visit Hatteras & When to book:

  • Summer is the most expensive season in the Hatteras area. To book the largest rental within your budget, we recommend reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Hosts sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance.   • Walk through the rental a final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, remember to take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Hosts rely on great feedback to drive future reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review.
