High Hopes' will be realized when you stay at this handsome four-bedroom, two-bathroom family getaway in Avon. This oceanfront home is located in a natural, maritime garden providing you a wondrous outdoor setting with painless access to the beach via the boardwalk and in a great location close to local stores and eateries. South-facing furnished decks will afford you great vistas of the ocean and a glimpse of the relaxing sound.

High Hopes offers comfortable and pleasing furnishings and decor inside, with a roomy living/dining room combination with a high ceiling and exposed beams. Colorful decorations and wood-paneled walls offer a warm ambiance and a variety of restful sleeping options are available in the four bedrooms. Savor additional vistas of the ocean from the eight-person dining table or breakfast bar as you feast on delicious seafood or stretch out on one of the comfortable couches in front of the TV. An additional TV, two VCR players, a DVD player, and a stereo/CD player are ready to provide some calming indoor entertainment when you need a break from the beach.

Other great amenities at High Hopes include wireless, high-speed internet access for your laptop, ground-level storage and utility room, convenient, covered parking directly beneath the home, and an outdoor charcoal grille. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to family pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Located in Avon, this vacation home is on the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Sticking to your spending plan:

  • Summer months are the most expensive season in the Hatteras area. To get the best value, try shifting your vacation dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer warmer temperatures, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
