Lose the shoes at elegant Flip Flop Island. Located in the oceanfront Durant Station complex, Flip Flop Island is the ideal place to begin your appreciate affair with Hatteras Island. This second-floor, fresh home is designed for life on the beach. If you choose, elevator access will deliver your guests, suitcases, and groceries to your floor. The queen bedroom has laminate wood floors, a TV, and access to a semi-private bath (hall access) with a tub/shower. The full-size kitchen has tile floors, solid surface countertops, a breakfast island, a microwave, an oven, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, and ocean vistas. The oceanfront living area has comfortable resort furnishings with a sleeper couch, a TV and DVD player, HBO, and DirecTV. Head outside to the furnished oceanfront deck with postcard vistas. Flip Flop Island welcomes one dog, so every family member can come along!

At ground level, you will find a enormous fish-cleaning station, grilles, and picnic tables. Elevator service is available to all levels. Just grab a bags cart from the first-floor coin-operated laundry facility and roll your suitcases to your condo door. Additional community amenities include high-speed internet and complimentary WiFi, a community pool (available May to Labor Day), a hot tub (available from April to November), and an outdoor shower. The Durant Station Community Center is topped by the historic tower from the original Durant Lifesaving Station. This is the ideal location for corporate meetings, wedding events, or for appreciating the space with family and friends. This area features a first-floor sitting room with a huge flatscreen TV, an electric fireplace (available November to March), and an upper-level game room with a pool table and a complete kitchen.

This home has access to a community pool, the community pools in our area are typically open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Community pools are operated at the discretion of the community HOA so the availability schedule may be subject to change without notice.

Located in Hatteras, this condo is on the beach.
