OCEANFRONT Hatteras Summerplace Dr. — There’s only one way to describe the 4,500 sq. ft. GOD’S PROMISE. It’s simply heavenly. Ideal for one extended or multiple families, this six-bedroom/six- and two-half-bath home offers the promise of awe-inspiring sunrises, renewed connections, and constant reminders to live in the moment.

As soon as you pull into the carports, let your two welcome dogs out to sniff the grass, and unload your bags with the use of a convenient elevator, you’ll feel the tranquility of this beachfront hideaway take hold. A boardwalk right next to the home leads you across the dunes to the water’s edge. An even closer waterfront option is a private pool, two outdoor showers, and a gas grille. A few steps up to the first level reveals a covered deck featuring Adirondack chairs and inside, a roomy game room featuring a pool table, wet bar, café table, sectional couch and 50-inch TV. There’s a half-bath on this level, too, along with an ensuite bedroom with two bunkbeds, giving the kids their own space.

About the Area

Located in Hatteras, this vacation home is on the beach. Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum and Frisco Native American Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Village Marina and Hatteras Harbor Marina. Frisco Mini Golf and Go Karts and Buxton Seafood are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

When to book & When to go:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. To book the best vacation home for your budget, we strongly suggest reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • In the Hatteras area, The earlier your group can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation homes are reserved early. Reserving your rental home up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation home.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Booking websites typically offer customers an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses.
