You'll have a blast kite boarding, windsurfing, kayaking, bird watching, or just taking in the exceptional unobstructed sound vistas from this pretty home located just 1 lot back from the sound with direct access. The ocean is just a short walk from the home. The ground level has a concrete drive, 3-car carport, an enclosed shower, a huge lockable storage area for boards, sails and other equipment, and all weather entry. The first level has 4 bedrooms, each with TV, and 2 full baths. Two bedrooms open to a shaded soundside deck with a 2-seat swing. The upstairs level has a enormous great room with vaulted ceiling, 55" LED TV with BluRay player, a sizable dining room table and a separate round table for games and puzzles. Kite boarders, windsurfers and fishermen will appreciate the weather station and tide clock. The home has 2 levels of generous decks facing 3 directions to savor the magnificant sound and sunset view, especially in the 6 person hot tub. (Fireplace and bags lift seen in photos are not available for guest use.)
New for 2024: Fresh interior paint elevates the space. Game nighttime has gotten an upgrade with a new game/puzzle table. Take a leisurely paddle in one of the two kayaks supplied (Lifejackets are available to rent locally).

Located near the beach, this vacation home is in Spindrift Banks, a neighborhood in Salvo. Chicamacomico Life-Saving Station Historic Site and Museum and Studio 12 are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Oregon Inlet Fishing Center and Uncle Eddy's Frozen Custard and 18-Hole Mini Golf. Rodanthe Pier and Ocean Air Sports are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
