Our calendar is refreshed in real-time & our nightly prices are accurately displayed. Simply enter your desired dates and click 'Book Now!'

Blue Dolphin is a coastal beach bungalow with an abundance of appeal. In this spot just four tons from the beach, you can relax and admire the ocean view from the rooftop deck, relax on the cool screened porch, or catch up with your appreciated ones on the furnished sundecks.

If you're in the mood for cooking, whip up a seafood feast on the outdoor park grille or head inside to the kitchen and dining area for a casual indoor meal. The owner has put a lot of thought and care into this beach home and it shows, from the living room with cathedral ceilings to the separate laundry area underneath the home. Appreciate three TVs (one is a 42-inch flatscreen), a DVD player, a stereo/CD player, and three accommodating bedrooms.

For great beach access and plenty of room both indoors and outdoors, Blue Dolphin is most certainly an magnificant catch.

Our top Rental home booking tips:

Getting the most from your rental home budget:

  • Summertime is high season in the Hatteras area. Booking your vacation rental in Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
  • Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some hosts offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special discounts are available for your group.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Find a copy of your local Hatteras area magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitors guides contain deals for nearby tours, shops, and attractions.

Filter your search:

  • Choose a group leader, choose your trip dates, and choose a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the bed configuration you need. Dog-friendly home with ocean views, rooftop deck & WiFi - 4 lots to the beach has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is commonly available on booking pages. If not, call the host before booking the vacation home. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds. You will need to establish what bed configuration is best for your trip.
  • Visiting for a single event? Try a map search to find nearby rentals.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking.
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your agreement! Extra fees or might be applied to your invoice.

More considerations:

  • Store the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Upon arrival, note any damages to the rental property and immediately contact the owner. Keep records of all coorespondence.
  • Hosts are great sources of help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Respect your neighbors. Frequently, adjacent homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking the property when you are away, just like you would back home.
  • Upon check-out, take a walk-through to make sure you haven't forget any personal items. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your group have a great time? Most rental home management companies make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property management company was wonderful, they would love to hear about it. If anything was defective and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
