Blue Dolphin is a coastal beach bungalow with an abundance of appeal. In this spot just four tons from the beach, you can relax and admire the ocean view from the rooftop deck, relax on the cool screened porch, or catch up with your appreciated ones on the furnished sundecks.
If you're in the mood for cooking, whip up a seafood feast on the outdoor park grille or head inside to the kitchen and dining area for a casual indoor meal. The owner has put a lot of thought and care into this beach home and it shows, from the living room with cathedral ceilings to the separate laundry area underneath the home. Savor three TVs (one is a 42-inch flatscreen), a DVD player, a stereo/CD player, and three accommodating bedrooms.
For great beach access and plenty of room both indoors and outdoors, Blue Dolphin is most certainly an amazing catch.

Vacation rental booking tips:
How to get the best rental value:
- In the Hatteras area, The sooner you can book, the easier your search will be. The best rental properties are booked early. Reserving your vacation rental up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
- To get the best value, change your trip dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer pleasant weather, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- Property managers sometimes offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Check with your property manager to see if discounts are available for your family.
- Management companies and individual rental owners often offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for details.
- Often, management companies and vacation rental houses supply Hatteras area visitor guides which will include coupons, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
Use filters to search efficiently:

- Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your family needs. Dog-friendly home with ocean views, rooftop deck & WiFi - 4 lots to the beach has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Hatteras rental home search.

- During arrival, record any damages to the rental property and immediately alert the property manager. Record all coorespondence.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable vacationers disrupting your home life. Employ the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and attractions you would have not otherwise known about!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
- Upon check-out, complete a final walk-through to make sure you have not forget any personal items. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on excellent ratings to drive more reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will will be grateful for your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
